[Bug 360803] Re: Tracker preferences dialog fails to turn off email indexing

2010-09-03 Thread Leo Arias
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu
better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to look at all
reported bugs in a timely manner.
There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and
your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a
lot if you could test the current Ubuntu development version (10.10). If you
can test it, and it is still an issue, we would appreciate if you could upload
updated logs by running apport-collect 360803, and any other logs that are
relevant for this particular issue.

Hi, I have this problem too. It also won't disable indexing mounted
directories. I am up-to-date with Jaunty.

The changelog at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/tracker/ should
help. Anyway, I'll test myself and let you know too.

I'm happy to test it again, but how do I know which package update
includes to that bugfix?

[Bug 360803] Re: Tracker preferences dialog fails to turn off email indexing

2009-04-13 Thread Joel Welling
Here's the dpkg -l info. I think maybe the dialog is crashing- it
pauses when I hit 'apply', and if I wait long enough before hitting 'OK'
the dialog closes anyway. I've been seeing a lot of bad interactions
between evolution and tracker, I'm afraid.

Obviously that should be "dpkg -l | grep evolution".

[Bug 360803] Re: Tracker preferences dialog fails to turn off email indexing

2009-04-13 Thread Murat Güneş
Thanks for reporting. This looks like it may have to do with bug
#354601, which is now fixed, but you do have the latest Tracker upload,
with which I cannot reproduce the problem.

Can you post your "dpkl -l | grep evolution" output?
