I have exactly the same problem Nvidia-graphics-drivers-180 crashes when I type new addres in Firefox. This happens allways when firefox opens list of matching addresses/bookmarks when I'm typing something in addres bar (I don't know correct word in english). Display corrupts and mouse freezes but keyboard seems to work (alt+sysrq+reisub works). Rhythmbox also stops playing. I have to do a power button boot to get system up again. Seems that nvidia driver version 180.51 fixes the problem.
