I do not agree that this is 'fixed released'. It still seems to effect the mysql-query-browser package on 6.06. 6.06 is long term support, so should be relied apon for use and support until 2009 (same as 7.10 really - the current version). I would not consider this bug closed until a fix is available for 6.06, or 6.06 support is expired. A fix for current LTS should not be 'upgrade to latest version'. Dapper is a long-term-support release, so this bug should not be closed until a fix is released for dapper, especially since the bug was originally opened against dapper.' gmarton reported in the forums in june, that the latest binary from the mysql site worked: http://www.ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=235799 "Yes, I downloaded the "Generic x86 Linux TAR (bundled dependencies)" untarred it, then run it with ./mysql-query-browser from the directory that I extracted to. It asked to run it once with --update-paths, then it works." I can confirm this also, on UD 6.06, mysql-query-browser 1.1.17-5ubuntu3. Tried 1.1.18 binary from mysql.org, doesn't work (seg faults).
