I have now installed Lucid Lynx Alpha 3 and have updated it through Synaptic on March 13th. I can tell you that the bug is still pending in Lucid Lynx and should probably be linked to it. Sorry but I don't know how to do this. Can someone please do it for me? Hi chunchengch, This bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? Can you try with the latest development release of Ubuntu? ISO CD images are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/ . If it remains an issue, could you run the following command from a Terminal (Applications->Accessories->Terminal). It will automatically gather and attach updated debug information to this report. apport-collect -p linux 363583 Also, if you could test the latest upstream kernel available that would be great. It will allow additional upstream developers to examine the issue. Refer to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Once you've tested the upstream kernel, please remove the 'needs-upstream- testing' tag. Assigned the bug to the kernel because usb suspend should be handled there. Actually this problem is not application specific or computer specific as I have been to reproduce it on an Asus F3JC and on a Medion MD42230 with cheese, skype and a webpage using flash to use my webcam. I'm afraid this bug can't be addressed as part of this project.
