The issue that you reported is one that should be reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the development release - Karmic Koala. It would help us greatly if you could test with it so we can work on getting it fixed in the next release of Ubuntu. No, you won't have to change the bug status yourself. Bug triagers like myself may set the status to incomplete if the report lacks enough information to reproduce the error. At this point, we likely have enough information to do that, and the next step is for someone with the same hardware/driver/release to confirm the bug. (Unfortunately I can't do this myself since I don't have an ATI card).
