[Bug 364035] Re: DV acquisition doesn't work kdenlive 0.7.3 jaunty 32
I get a similar error when I try to use KDENlive. If I run the program from a command line as sudo then I can connect to the camera. When I do this, however, the capture crashes after it is initialized and starts. This also happens with my webcam, though, and was also an issue with the webcam before I attempted a capture. For now, a suitable workaround for some users may be to run the program as SUDO. Else, capture with KINO and then edit in KDENLive. -- DV acquisition doesn't work kdenlive 0.7.3 jaunty 32 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/364035 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 364035] Re: DV acquisition doesn't work kdenlive 0.7.3 jaunty 32
'ffplay -f dv ... some.avi' is incorrect because '-f dv' specifies raw dv, and this is an AVI. You can try to test this with 'dvgrab - | ffplay -f dv pipe:' -- DV acquisition doesn't work kdenlive 0.7.3 jaunty 32 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/364035 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 364035] Re: DV acquisition doesn't work kdenlive 0.7.3 jaunty 32
I've received this answer from an administrator of kdenlive bug report tools : Works fine here with Jaunty and ffplay (FFmpeg) compiled from source. So it must be something related to Ubuntu's ffplay / ffmpeg version... Is it possible to change ffplay in jaunty ? it seems to be the trouble...
