Sorry for getting back that late, internet died this weekend. Installing
myspell-nl solved the problem:

Do you have myspell-nl 1:1.00-2 installed also? I think it should be
installed since the others are.

Do you have a Dutch dictionary installed? If not that may be the reason
it is not working.

I don't know if I am related to Dick Cheney, my family has lived in the
US for at least 200 years so it is possible I suppose.

Neither one of the following works:

Tools > Language > For All Text > Dutch



ABC Icon (Spell Check) > Text Language (scroll down menu): set this to
Dutch

So you can't select Tools->Options->Language
Settings->Languages->Western->Dutch and have it stay selected? Or what
exactly is the problem?
