Do you have myspell-nl 1:1.00-2 installed also? Do you have a Dutch dictionary installed? If not that may be the reason it is not working. I don't know if I am related to Dick Cheney, my family has lived in the US for at least 200 years so it is possible I suppose. So you can't select Tools->Options->Language Settings->Languages->Western->Dutch and have it stay selected?
