[Bug 37135] Re: kaddressbook is unable to talk to ldap server using ssl with a self signed certificate
It seems that editing the ldap.conf file is not required any more on Feisty Fawn. I have configured LDAP authentication without editing the configuration files. I just had to import the certificates into kleopatra and add new LDAP address book to kaddressbook. -- kaddressbook is unable to talk to ldap server using ssl with a self signed certificate https://launchpad.net/bugs/37135 -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
[Bug 37135] Re: kaddressbook is unable to talk to ldap server using ssl with a self signed certificate
An alternative solution would be to tell ldap to ignore bad certificates. This is the designed behavior, not a bug, and the suggested solution is the correct one. ** Changed in: kdepim (Ubuntu) Status: Unconfirmed => Rejected -- kaddressbook is unable to talk to ldap server using ssl with a self signed certificate https://launchpad.net/bugs/37135 -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
