This bug is valid also for Ubuntu 9.10. I'm running Ubuntu 9.10 in a prototype computer, but it seems that it have a similar keyboard. Thanks for providing all the necessary information, but there is a newer kernel version 2.6.28-12. Can you run an update and ensure that all updates are installed, running a Partial Upgrade if needed, as this may have been fixed in the newer kernel, and report back. Did it and no success. I still don't have the slash/question key working on the text console, and still need to use xmodmap to workaround the problem on X.
