I can also confirm this for 64-bit Jaunty. [Bug 376816] Re: files lacking from qtpfsgui file browser
I can confirm this bug for 32-bit Jaunty, too. You have to change .JPG to lower case to work around this bug :-( Regards, Andreas ** Bug watch added: Debian Bug tracker #536652 http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=536652 ** Also affects: qtpfsgui (Debian) via http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=536652 Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown -- files lacking from qtpfsgui file browser https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/376816 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 376816] Re: files lacking from qtpfsgui file browser
I can confirm this for 32-bit Jaunty. Jpeg images are only found after changing the extensions to lower case. 1.9.1-1build2. -- files lacking from qtpfsgui file browser https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/376816 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 376816] Re: files lacking from qtpfsgui file browser
I can confirm this problem from two machines running 64-bit Jaunty. This applies also for .CR2 files, renaming them to lower case makes them visible. -- files lacking from qtpfsgui file browser https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/376816 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 376816] Re: files lacking from qtpfsgui file browser
Figured out the problem. On one hand I feel silly, but the short answer is this: On one of my 64-bit machines (I have Qtpfsgui on 3 machines), Qtpfsgui does not recognize *.JPG as an image format. It does however recognize *.jpg. Curiously, this behaviour is absent from my other 64-bit machine, both running qtpfsgui 1.9.1-1build2 and both with Ubuntu 9.04 with minimal modifications. This is a bit of a problem, as both machines need to access about 60gb of photos, plus two synced backups. Going through and changing all of the file extensions to lower case just isn't a great option. -- files lacking from qtpfsgui file browser https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/376816 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
