Public bug reported: I have a fresh install of Ubuntu 9.04 on a Toshiba L25 S121 laptop using the snd-atiixp module. After playing a sound it will play it fine for up to 15 seconds then start echoing and glitching repeatedly until killed.
I've received these errors "ati IXP rev2 unknown codec" lspci states that its loaded but its capability is "access denied" I've followed guides for this problem for similar laptops with no luck i.e. "snd-atiixp ac97_codec=0" in /etc/modprobe.d/alsabase.conf and adding myself to the pulse audio related groups and using padevchooser to make sure everything is set. I've been searching the forums for a solution for days with no luck. Any other information to a fix for this I would be glad to give. Thanks in advance. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- snd-atiixp module glitching https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/379651 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
