Public bug reported: Hi,
When I run a program linked with openmpi in Ubuntu karmic. It runs OK but with the following warnings of undefined symbol: ompi_mpi_abort. This is minor but it can be annoying. If you can help to fix, that will be great! It is a two processor job. So the warnings are [VM64:09706] mca: base: component_find: unable to open /usr/lib/openmpi/lib/openmpi/mca_osc_pt2pt: /usr/lib/openmpi/lib/openmpi/mca_osc_pt2pt.so: undefined symbol: ompi_mpi_abort (ignored) [VM64:09706] mca: base: component_find: unable to open /usr/lib/openmpi/lib/openmpi/mca_osc_rdma: /usr/lib/openmpi/lib/openmpi/mca_osc_rdma.so: undefined symbol: ompi_mpi_abort (ignored) [VM64:09707] mca: base: component_find: unable to open /usr/lib/openmpi/lib/openmpi/mca_osc_pt2pt: /usr/lib/openmpi/lib/openmpi/mca_osc_pt2pt.so: undefined symbol: ompi_mpi_abort (ignored) [VM64:09707] mca: base: component_find: unable to open /usr/lib/openmpi/lib/openmpi/mca_osc_rdma: /usr/lib/openmpi/lib/openmpi/mca_osc_rdma.so: undefined symbol: ompi_mpi_abort (ignored) Thanks, Mengda ProblemType: Bug Architecture: amd64 Date: Wed Jun 3 19:38:57 2009 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.10 Package: libopenmpi1 1.3-2ubuntu1 ProcEnviron: LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.30-7.8-generic SourcePackage: openmpi Uname: Linux 2.6.30-7-generic x86_64 ** Affects: openmpi (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug -- Undefined symbol warning: ompi_mpi_abort https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/383439 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
