Public bug reported: Binary package hint: subversion
I have a server Ubuntu 9.04 x86_64. I need to install an svn server on the machine. I installed the subversion package from the repository, but whenever I try to do any operation via svn+ssh://, the svnserve binary on the server segfaults. The error in dmesg is as follows (the locations of the ip and sp vary across multiple invocations of the svnserve binary): [104886.443703] svnserve[19935]: segfault at 7f8bb8c7a788 ip 00007f8bb7f71d16 sp 00007fffc0c92420 error 4 in libdb-4.6.so[7f8bb7ebb000+13a000] kaust...@alpha:~$ lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 9.04 Release: 9.04 kaust...@alpha:~$ apt-cache policy subversion subversion: Installed: 1.5.4dfsg1-1ubuntu2 Candidate: 1.5.4dfsg1-1ubuntu2 ** Affects: subversion (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- svnserve segfaults https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/384979 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
