I have exactly the same problem, but en Kubuntu Gutsy... (after installing the setup manager for the grub)... How did you fix the problem in Dapper? I also have this bug. And I am getting annoyed that there seems to be no one attending to this. I have been surfing the net and forums and everybody seems helpless on this one. I am using dapper, from the cd shipped to me by shipit. Any workaround on this one?
