package provided by the official Ubuntu repositories. Because of this

  x86_64 GNU/Linux
  
  i can't seem to get amule to work, either with the 2.2.4 or the latest
  2.2.5 version compiled from source.
  
  Installation goes smoothly and gives no errors from start to end.
  
  However launching amule results in 100% cpu load for 20-25 secondes,
- then die on itself with a segfault.
