My apologies but I got this wrong. It neither hibernates nor suspends it seems. However, before we close this bug, why doesn't it load grub after a "shutdown" where it does with a "restart" for example? For the sake of clarity I should say that I clicked on the power icon in the top right and chose "shutdown" from the drop down menu.
