Public bug reported:
I am installing Karmic Remix on a Macbook Pro and the installer
generates a fatal error at the end of the installation----it hits the
error while running "update-grub". The Remix version was dated June 20.
There is no /var/log/installer. installer directory does not exist. If
there are other files you would like let me know.
