Good that it works for you Cojeda, it doesn't work for 'us'. It looks like we'll have to wait for the next kernel update, which is not bad. My case: Ubuntu 9.04 Nvidia 8400 4 gb mem and the following peripherals connected SimpleTech external hard drive modem md300 Sony Ericsson pendrive kingston All via USB, unplug the peripherals and went back to the update. I get a kernel panic using the 2.6.28.13 kernel (was prompted for security updates) as well.
