The version from the gcstar-dev ppa (https://launchpad.net/~gcstar/+archive/gcstar-dev) fixes all these problems. This is still present in the Ubuntu 9.10 version (1.4.3) which also has problems with getting movie info from imdb and Amazon (US). The now current version on gcstar.org (1.5.0 beta 1) does get some info from BGG, but not, for example, any pictures or the designer and publisher info. It also fails to retrieve the director from imdb.
