Public bug reported: Binary package hint: firefox-3.0
I use Acer 4530 Laptop with AMD Athlon X2 chipset I recently upgraded from Ubuntu 8.10 to Ubuntu 9.04. Since the upgrade, I am facing the following problem with Firefox 3.0: When I have multiple tabs open, and I try to close Firefox, it prompts me whether I want to save the tab information. Irrespective of whether I choose "Quit" or "Save and Quit", the application crashes. The only way out is to power cycle. Due to this, I have not been able to save any logs. This happens for all web-sites, the only thing that matters is how many tabs are open. If I close all but one tab and quit, it works just fine. I did not have this issue in 8.10 ** Affects: firefox-3.0 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- In Ubuntu 9.04, Firefox crashes when closing with multiple active tabs https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/391473 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
