Suspend works perfectly on T500 with 9.10 all kernels up to 2.6.34.6. It seems to be broken for Maverik 2.6.35 kernels. I just tried the suspend function on my Thinkpad T500 with 9.10 beta1 Ubuntu karmic (development branch), live CD. It worked perfectly except one side effect: the wifi did not come up.
