Regarding the documentation under the heading Debugging Crashes:

sudo apt-get install network-manager-dbgsym libnm-util0-dbgsym
libnm-glib0-dbgsym libglib2.0-0-dbgsym
}}}

fails with libnm-util0-dbgsym not found; my sources.list contains the
lines

deb http://ddebs.ubuntu.com jaunty main restricted universe multiverse
deb http://ddebs.ubuntu.com jaunty-updates main restricted universe
multiverse 
deb http://ddebs.ubuntu.com jaunty-security main restricted universe
multiverse
deb http://ddebs.ubuntu.com jaunty-proposed main restricted universe
multiverse
}}}

As libnm-util1 is installed, I suppose the link you've sent is outdated.
Now I'm wondering if anything else might have changed...
