Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nginx
Adding `ssl on;` in you config file will give you and error like this: --- SSL_CTX_set_tlsext_servername_callback() failed (SSL:) --- and nginx will not start! The problem is related to bug #186844 in libssl. Although the required packages were built, those are not included in hardy. You have to push libssl to jaunty's version by installing (for example) this package: https://edge.launchpad.net/~ubuntu-security/+archive/ppa/+build/1070801 The problem doesn't seem to be of high importance, although users who are looking for a solution to this problem will find this useful (hopefully). Should be nice to have latest openssl build also in hardy. ** Affects: nginx (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- SSL fails in hardy https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/395637 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
