flashplugin-installer has this on line 37 and 55 in its prerm script: [ `update-alternatives --list "$p-flashplugin" | wc -l` = 0 ] && \ which does not work as intended because updates-alternatives outputs errors to stderr. obvious fix is to change lines 37 and 55 to: [ `update-alternatives --list "$p-flashplugin" 2>&1| wc -l` = 0 ] && \ and flashplugin-installer is uninstallable again.
