Same issue happens in Ubuntu 10.04 with latest gstreamer available for this distro. If I launch gst-launch playbin uri=file:///path/to/files I have the same issue. thanks for the report, do you get the same if playing the files with gst-launch playbin uri=file:///path/to/files that could be a codecs issue rather than a totem one.
