Couldn't I just click on "Also affects: Distribution..." above and then select Debian? That way, I believe Malone would keep track of the bug in the Debian BTS, wouldn't it? please file a bug if you can to debian BTS, asking to move dia.desktop from dia-gome to the dia-common package so both dia and dia=gnome have it installed. The change will have to be done in debian anyway as it involves adding Replaces: entries in the control file so its better to have those sorted out in debian. Yep, it's still there on Edgy. I don't know what's so hard about fixing this bug, I mean this is low hanging fruit after all and should take about ten minutes to fix. Hi, Alright, I added a .desktop file for dia to /usr/share/applications, and dia shows right up in the menus. So, just add the .desktop file to the package. Or even better, add the .desktop file and everything related (pixmaps etc.) to the dia-common package.
