Right, well, it seams like no one else is experiencing this, and I want to reload my computer anyway, so I am just going to install the alpha version of 9.10, and I doubt the bugs will still be there (actually, they may just appear back in a few months for no obvious (to me anyway) reason). No, I am not using desktop effects. Also, I tried to let xord autodetect my display, but when it went into low graphics mode, and I clicked on autodetect settings, it just re- popped up the box again. In the end, I had to put the original xorg.conf file back. Are you using desktop effects if so turn them off, and try again. If it still doesn't work please attach your X server configuration file (/etc/X11/xorg.conf) and X server log file (/var/log/Xorg.0.log) to the bug report as individual uncompressed file attachments using the Attachment: box below. Could you please also try to run without any /etc/X11/xorg.conf and let Xorg autodetect your display and video card? Please also attach the /var/log/Xorg.0.log from this attempt.
