[Bug 412793] Re: Jaunty: KDE4: Network manager widget kills plasma
My guess would be a stale cache. (Or, in technical terms, the ksycoca cache hadn't been updated after the widget was removed) But since this was a one-off configuration glitch I'm afraid there's not much we can do. Thanks for the report, though. ** Package changed: knetworkmanager (Ubuntu) = plasma-widget-network- manager (Ubuntu) ** Changed in: plasma-widget-network-manager (Ubuntu) Status: New = Invalid -- Jaunty: KDE4: Network manager widget kills plasma https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/412793 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 412793] Re: Jaunty: KDE4: Network manager widget kills plasma
I think I found the reason for the error. I was missing the plasma-widget-network-manager package. But that leads to another problem: Why was the widget listed as available to be added if the package was missing? -- Jaunty: KDE4: Network manager widget kills plasma https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/412793 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to knetworkmanager in ubuntu. -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-b...@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
