Eva has been removed from Ubuntu for upcoming releases as it appears to
have been abandoned by its authors and has serious bugs such as this
one. Unfortunately this means that no further bugfixes nor improvements
to Eva will be made.

  EVA is a IM program to connect to QQ. QQ is original Chinese. I have
  everything installed to write Chinese, but it´s not working in EVA. All
  the programs I use support SCIM. I press (left) CRTL and SPACE and I can
  write Chinese. This is not working in EVA.
