I found something strange regarding to read movie dvds. I was trying to read movie dvd and I got an error message to. I was able to solve that issue to set in mountmanager as allowed user to mount users before it was administrators only. My be it is regarding a permission set in HAL (org/freedesktop/devices). Type for media in mountmanager is set to DVD and CD (available options here are both, only dvd or only cd) Now I can read DVDs but still the same error with audio CD. When Im looking for properties on Audio CD (Icon display on desktop): Name: Audio-CD Typ: Folder (inode/directory) Content: nothingin here it looks strange to me. I have configured the repositories to update everything except backports. But No updates received since I have installed ubuntu (alternate) was fixing it. Now I read something like try to restart dbus daemon or set some variables to grub.cfg. all_generic_dma=1 all_generic_ide=1 But im not sure how to set it now to grub.cfg because of having running grub2, which i not have testet yet for myself.
