not sure if that's really a bug or a design decision, you might want to send this upstream directly at bugzilla.gnome.org, thanks. ** Changed in: gnome-utils (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete = New -- Dictionary doesn't show suggested words for mistyped words but does so for correctly-typed words https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/419395 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
Re: [Bug 419395] Re: Dictionary doesn't show suggested words for mistyped words but does so for correctly-typed words
If I search for community, then dictionary displays the correct definition. However, if I type in the word comunity, then dictionary displays two divs. The left div displays an error message and the right div (which is larger and is supposed to display suggested words) displays nothing. When I search for community again, the definition appears in the left div and the cases of community listed above are displayed in the suggested words. I don't know if you call it a div... :) On Wed, Aug 26, 2009 at 12:36 PM, Pedro Villavicencio pe...@ubuntu.comwrote: it does that for every word if you have the Similar words bar open, why is that a bug? should it be close every time you look for a word there? ** Description changed: Binary package hint: gnome-utils - Case ID: dic-002 + Steps and Results: 1) Go to Applications - Office - Dictionary 2) Type in comunity and hit ENTER. 3) RESULT: Error while looking up definition in side bar.
