[Bug 42276] Re: Beagle doesn't find files by file name
You need to use ext:extension, eg, ext:pdf. This is argued on the other bug, but this is a case to take up with upstream. ** Bug 48281 has been marked a duplicate of this bug ** Changed in: beagle (Ubuntu) Status: Unconfirmed => Confirmed ** Changed in: beagle (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Rejected -- Beagle doesn't find files by file name https://launchpad.net/bugs/42276 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 42276] Re: Beagle doesn't find files by file name
I also noticed beagle doesn't return results of specific filename searches. It would be good if it could serve somewhat as a kind of replacement to slocate for files in the home directory. -- Beagle doesn't find files by file name https://launchpad.net/bugs/42276 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
