You need to use ext:extension, eg, ext:pdf.
This is argued on the other bug, but this is a case to take up with upstream.

I also noticed beagle doesn't return results of specific filename
searches. It would be good if it could serve somewhat as a kind of
replacement to slocate for files in the home directory.
