[Bug 424888] Re: Brasero produces .toc files containing absolute paths when

2014-06-02 Thread Rob de Graaf
Brasero 3.10.0 in 14.04 LTS still produces cue and toc files with
absolute paths in them. It is easy enough to work around by editing the
cue/toc file, but as a default it's counterintuitive. It would be better
to leave the path out when writing the cue/toc file and use only the
image file name. That way, the files may be moved anywhere (as you often
would with disk images), and they could still be opened and burned, as
long as they are kept together. I don't see any value in keeping the
path in there.

2014-01-14 Thread simon place
reopening bug, because it effects me and has been incorrectly closed,
the description above is actually explicit and accurate.

absolute paths are just a mistake.

also the error messages and error log are unhelpful, problem deduced
from examining the toc file in an editor.

2009-09-07 Thread Pedro Villavicencio
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. The issue that you reported is one that should be
reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the
development release. It would help us greatly if you could test with it
so we can work on getting it fixed in the next release of Ubuntu. You
can find out more about the development release at
http://www.ubuntu.com/testing/ . Thanks again and we appreciate your
help.
