[Bug 439186] Re: FUJITSU SIEMENS AMILO Pro V2040 hibernate/resume failure
Hi Jeremy, I'm pleased to say that I'm no longer affected by this bug. I'm on the current Lucid version and it seems to go to sleep and wake up ok (apart from having to restart the wireless using the Fn key combo when it comes back from hibernate). [Bug 439186] Re: FUJITSU SIEMENS AMILO Pro V2040 hibernate/resume failure
Hi rothchild, This bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? Can you try with the latest development release of Ubuntu? ISO CD images are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/ . If it remains an issue, could you run the following command from a Terminal (Applications-Accessories-Terminal). It will automatically gather and attach updated debug information to this report. apport-collect -p linux 439186 Also, if you could test the latest upstream kernel available that would be great. It will allow additional upstream developers to examine the issue. Refer to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Once you've tested the upstream kernel, please remove the 'needs-upstream-testing' tag. This can be done by clicking on the yellow pencil icon next to the tag located at the bottom of the bug description and deleting the 'needs-upstream-testing' text. Please let us know your results. Thanks in advance. [This is an automated message. [Bug 439186] Re: FUJITSU SIEMENS AMILO Pro V2040 hibernate/resume failure
I am still having issues with hibernate / suspend / resume - Seems to happen if machine hibernates whilst on power, is unplugged and then woken up. I get the unlock screen password dialogue but machine is frozen and takes hard reset to get it going again. $ uname -a Linux deathstar-laptop 2.6.31-16-generic #53-Ubuntu SMP Tue Dec 8 04:01:29 UTC 2009 i686 GNU/Linux Can someone guide me on what to submit to get this issue addressed? ta -- FUJITSU SIEMENS AMILO Pro V2040 hibernate/resume failure https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/439186 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
