[Bug 439191] Re: gnome-panel clock appears in bold for dust themes
Hi, you could try this to remove the bold texts on the panel (I don't know if there's a better way out there though) - Just open up your home folder and make sure you can view all hidden files, look for the file .gtkrc-2.0 If the file isnt there open up your text editor and create one, put this into that file: style modpanel { font_name = Sans 9 fg[NORMAL] = #060606 } widget *PanelWidget* style modpanel widget *PanelApplet* style modpanel widget *fast-user-switch-applet* style modpanel Thats it! Just save the file. And into the terminal put : killall gnome-panel Now you got readable fonts in gnome panel. -- source: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1138150 -- gnome-panel clock appears in bold for dust themes https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/439191 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 439191] Re: gnome-panel clock appears in bold for dust themes
Just upgraded from jaunty to karmic, and the dust theme still has the bold text. [Bug 439191] Re: gnome-panel clock appears in bold for dust themes
The change didn't make it to karmic. You can use the newest release of Dust, though. -- gnome-panel clock appears in bold for dust themes https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/439191 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Yes, it is intentional. [Bug 439191] Re: gnome-panel clock appears in bold for dust themes
I quite like the way that Shiki does it, with bold text for the Applications/Places/System menu but normal text for the clock, simply because otherwise the clock uses up lots of space. Of course, having Applications/Places/System in bold also takes up more space :( -- gnome-panel clock appears in bold for dust themes https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/439191 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
