A new upstream version of keepassx has entered Xenial now. This version rewrites basically the whole UI code, which makes this particular crash very unlikely. I have the same Bug #449336 but as user of Trusty Tahr 14.04 LTS under Gnome Flashback/fallback. (AMD64) Unity is also installed, but not in use I try to setup the preview of Keepassx and did not saved something, but it was crashed.
