[Bug 449723] Re: PulseAudio channeling motherboard signal transmissions, popping audio, lagging audio
Here is how I fixed the issue: Edit /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf as sudo, e.g. sudo gedit /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf and change the setting: options snd-hda-intel power_save=10 to options snd-hda-intel power_save=0 reboot and see if this solves the problem. -- PulseAudio channeling motherboard signal transmissions, popping audio, lagging audio https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/449723 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
Re: [Bug 449723] Re: PulseAudio channeling motherboard signal transmissions, popping audio, lagging audio
Comment out the options snd-hda-intel line in /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf and reboot. I think it is a feature to save power, the problem become apparent when you are using headset which results having sharp sounds on every switch on. -- PulseAudio channeling motherboard signal transmissions, popping audio, lagging audio https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/449723 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
