This bug was filed in a pre-release version of gnome-shell in karmic, which has reached end of life. Sorry, I just mixed gnome-do and gnome-shell. But let me add that just marking this as invalid is quite bad triaging as the bug exists within official Ubuntu packages. So updating this report would have been more friendly and more productive. And there is no need of telling a user that he needs not pay a price.
