Here's what I get: ERROR:dbus.proxies:Introspect error on org.freedesktop.NetworkManager:/org/freedesktop/NetworkManager: dbus.exceptions.DBusException: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name org.freedesktop.NetworkManager was not provided by any .service files org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name org.freedesktop.NetworkManager was not provided by any .service files Note that I don't use NetworkManager here... it's a desktop with a static LAN IP, so the network configuration is set through the normal /etc/network/interfaces method. Hi Ryan, Sorry for the long delay in getting in response to you on this bug. Based on the log files, it appears there may be a NetworkManager related problem. We're trying to collect additional information about these NetworkManager related errors. Can you run the following command in a terminal session and report back the output in a comment here? wget -q http://launchpadlibrarian.net/34282008/nm-checker && chmod 755 nm-checker && ./nm-checker This downloads a small python script (that collects information about the state of NetworkManager on your computer), sets it to executable, and runs the script. I have the same problem: - "Go to web" and uploading files with firefox is no problem - When choosing "connect" it shows a cloud for 1-2 seconds and returns to disconnected with a "!" - In "passwords and encryption kets" I can see a token for https://ubuntuone.com - On the website under "account" I can see my machine registered to my account - I tried removing the token, removing all machines from my account and restarting ubuntuone-client, but the applet never connects and files never sync through nautilus. I'm running Ubuntu 9.10-RC and registered with ubuntu one after a fresh install.
