Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager

When I press the suspend button on my laptop, the computer goes in
hibernation mode even if I specified "suspend" in
System/Preferences/Power Management -> general tab -> "when the suspend
button is pressed...". At resume, the "suspend" and "hibernate" options
disappear from the graphical menu (System/Shut Down).

If I make it by the graphical way (System/Shut Down/Suspend), the
computer suspend as expected and there's no problem on resume.

I have Ubuntu Karmic 9.10 installed on a Dell Inspiron 1520 laptop.
Kernel 2.6.31-14
G-P-M : 2.28.1

** Affects: gnome-power-manager (Ubuntu)
