Well am sure the Firefox community is working hard to fix this issue for this particular version. The temporary solution is to kill the process once and restart the Firefox version 3.5.7 . This will help you temporarily. It is not a security issue just a minor bug after you have installed a Add on or something. I only have this bug on my i386 ubuntu 9.10 install not the 64bit ubuntu 9.10 install.
