Public bug reported: Binary package hint: system-config-printer
Running Karmic Koala final 64bit. The USB port on our HP Photosmart C5180 is non functional so we have to connect the printer with a network cable straight from the ethernet ports on both the printer and laptop. This setup worked fine with Jaunty, system-config-printer always detected the printer. This also works fine with Vista yet for some reason this seems to be a regression with Karmic and is a real pain in the ass. ** Affects: system-config-printer (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- system-config-printer doesnt detect printer. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/464944 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
