Just a note that the default intrepid and jaunty encrypted ~/Private and
~ work fine with available display managers (and thus X Window System)

What parameters did you use when creating the enfcs filesystem. Some
options prevent creating hardlinks in the filesystem, which may be
required by ICEauth.
