 Hi Joshua

Sorry for taking so long to reply to your email. I hope you've had a
 good Christmas and new year.

Anyway I've just completed a re-install of karmic and can now report
that ubuntuone-client now syncs correctly at the first time of asking.

So I think this bug can be marked as solved.

 Thanks for your help

[Bug 471316] Re: ubuntuone-client does not sync server files to pc on clean install

2009-11-25 Thread Joshua Hoover
Hi Rachael,

Is this still an issue for you? You should not have to add a file to
your ~/Ubuntu One folder for files on the server to show up after
reinstalling the client. The only time this would be an issue
(currently) is if you add files via the web and have your client
running. In this case, you need to restart the Ubuntu One client for
files to show up.

Thank you,

Joshua

[Bug 471316] Re: ubuntuone-client does not sync server files to pc on clean install

2009-11-08 Thread lncoll
I'm affected too. Mine is not a new install, but I've deleted the ~/Ubuntu One
folder and the ~/.cache/ubuntuone folder because in this computer the syncing
was not working.
Now I have an empty ~/Ubuntu One folder and no files are downloaded
