[Bug 480712] Re: 9.04-9.10 kernels on Intel D101GGC locks for 1-15 min, after unlock the date differs from hwclock
Hi korziner, This bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? Can you try with the latest development release of Ubuntu? ISO CD images are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/ . If it remains an issue, could you run the following command from a Terminal (Applications->Accessories->Terminal). It will automatically gather and attach updated debug information to this report. apport-collect -p linux 480712 Also, if you could test the latest upstream kernel available that would be great. It will allow additional upstream developers to examine the issue. Refer to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Once you've tested the upstream kernel, please remove the 'needs-upstream-testing' tag. This can be done by clicking on the yellow pencil icon next to the tag located at the bottom of the bug description and deleting the 'needs-upstream-testing' text. Please let us know your results. Thanks in advance. [This is an automated message. Apologies if it has reached you inappropriately; please just reply to this message indicating so.] ** Tags added: needs-kernel-logs ** Tags added: needs-upstream-testing ** Tags added: kj-triage ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- 9.04-9.10 kernels on Intel D101GGC locks for 1-15 min, after unlock the date differs from hwclock https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/480712 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Same exact problem here with 9.10/Karmic Koala and the D101GGC. It's been quite a while now - anyone else got any clues on this? I have compiled 2.6.30 from kernel.org - also freezes. I have compiled BFS patched kernel - also freezes. Non linux systems also freeze other users PCs: www.fixya.com/support/t2804966-intel_d101ggc_freezes_ramdoly http://www.fixya.com/support/t3567164-got_d101ggc_motherboard_1_gb_ram_when My WinXPsp3 never freezes. ATI driver version 8.172.0.0 (30.08.2005). Perhaps ATI drivers for Win do fix a bug, which is not fixed on Linux and Win sustems without the ATI driver? -- 9.04-9.10 kernels on Intel D101GGC locks for 1-15 min, after unlock the date differs from hwclock https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/480712 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
