Nop, you can use it from different computers, but you should not modify
same files from different clients before they synchronize. Otherwise you
will have these conflicts.
If this problem still happens to you, I'd ask you the DEBUG logs to find
the issue here.
You should do the following:
1. stop the syncdaemon client and be sure it's fully stopped ("ps -eaf |
grep ubuntuone-client" should give you nothing).
2. put a file named syncdaemon.conf in your $HOME/.config/ubuntuone
directory with the following information:
[__main__]
log_level = DEBUG
3. restart the client.
4. attach here the logs, just zip you $HOME/.cache/ubuntuone/log/ folder
and attach the zip here.

May be I misunderstood the proper usage of Ubuntu One. As soon as I tried to access/modify my Ubuntu One from different computers, my account content got messed up badly. Should I only use it only from one computer? @Phillip So far so good. I have tested on one single laptop: 1/ I had an old folder on the Web but it did not updated on my laptop. So I deleted that from the web page and started from scratch. 2/ So I copied one folder into the "~/Ubuntu One" folder and I saw it synced up with the web page. 3/ I created a folder on the web page and I saw the new folder synced up on the local "~/Ubuntu One" folder. 4/ I went to another computer (a virtualbox), logged into the web page, all files are there. Start UnbuntuOne on this computer, I was asked for authetication and then the Unbutu One folder is synced up. AnimusVirus, Tien Nguyen, Notifications have been fixed so that if you delete on the website, the change shows up almost immediately on your desktop. We're working on an issue with respect to file uploads, that should be added soon. This Bug affects me too. UbuntuOne Web site does synchronize well with my ubuntu one folder.
