Public bug reported: Please sync esound 0.2.41-6 (main) from Debian sid (main)
Changelog entries since current lucid version 0.2.41-5: esound (0.2.41-6) unstable; urgency=low * Remove libesd-alsa0. Only build one package, libesd0. On Linux it uses ALSA unconditionally, we don’t support OSS anymore. Closes: #553182. * Make esound-common conflict against libesd-alsa0 so that it gets removed from user systems. * Simplify the build process accordingly. -- Josselin Mouette <j...@debian.org> Tue, 03 Nov 2009 20:32:35 +0100 I have checked the reverse dependencies for libesd-alsa0 and all packages that depend on it list libesd0 as an alternative. Losing the package libesd-alsa0 should not break any packaging dependencies ** Affects: esound (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Sync esound 0.2.41-6 (main) from Debian sid (main) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/483819 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
