Public bug reported: Recently upgraded to 9.10 on my HP 2133 netbook.
Looking at Sound Preferences there are no devices listed in Input tab. The only output device is Dummy Output Stereo. When booting up I hear only the short drum riff but no login tune. There is no sound from any application.
