pecemkd and horace, I apologize. I should have realized the difficulty in having you run that command... At the login screen, you will see an option at the bottom to choose which desktop mode you want to log in as. The default mode is "Gnome", but you should be able to choose "Gnome-failsafe". Try that to see if you are able to log in so that you can run the command. Dear WeatherGod, I really appriciate your help, but as I told you in the bug information, my screen is blank. So how could I find where "Accessories" is? I have the same problem as well. I have blocked out all the black listed graphics card and installed／ removed fusion icon. Reinstalled ubuntu but nothing worked. pecemkd, the "Terminal" is a program that you can find in "Accessories" under your start menu. The "Terminal" is a simple text program that offers a "command prompt" much like the old style DOS computers did a long time ago. Enter the above command (without the quotes) and press enter. Follow any instructions it gives you.
