I have moved from the network where I had this issue. I used to be on a
telnet system, but have moved over to 802.1x based authentication.

And I don't used any routers, plugged it straight in the wall (no idea
what was behind that, tough). And what can windows xp possibly have to
do with this?

Anyway, I'll try to reproduce the error and get back at ya. Haven't used
my linux box online since I moved to the new network, so I have no idea
what the results will be, tough.
